YveYANG is excited to announce its inaugural participation in the 22nd edition of NADA Miami with a duo presentation featuring works by Anastazie Anderson and Pauline Rintsch.
Anderson’s large-scale paintings imbue fleeting childhood memories with a sense of nostalgic longing. Her flattened figures and serene color palette evoke distant intimacy, with off-centered, emotionally ambivalent subjects. In contrast, Rintsch’s paintings delve into intense emotions and the complexities of human relationships. Her delicate watercolor brushstrokes convey vulnerability and transience, offering an intimate counterpoint to conventional portraiture.
Anastazie Anderson (b. 1995, Prague, Czech Republic) is a Czech-British painter living and working in London. She completed a BA in Fine Art at Falmouth University before pursuing a Masters in Painting at the Royal College of Art, for which she was awarded a scholarship from The Bakala Foundation Scholarship. Recent exhibitions include Like a Beacon Against the Cold at LBF Contemporary, London, Imitation of Life at YveYANG Gallery, New York, Well Cold at Moosey Gallery, Norwich, and I Don’t Paint What I See at Berntson Bhattacharjee Gallery, London.
Pauline Rintsch (b. 1995, Germany) lives and works in Düsseldorf, Germany. She received her Meisterschüler diploma from Prof. Tomma Abts at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf in 2023. Rintsch is a recipient of a scholarship from the Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes (German Academic Scholarship Foundation) for 2019-2023. She has had solo exhibitions at Fiebach, Minninger and La Felce in Cologne and YveYANG Gallery in New York.
