Ye Wang works in multi-media and interdisciplinary projects that combine video, program, and installation. Initially inspired by the history of image display, his work attempts to navigate and model the use of endlessly proliferative information and images in contemporary life. He investigates hybrid and shifting uses of images as they relate to complex relationships between observation and exploitation, seduction and repulsion. Moving beyond the limits of images, he began to investigate the architecture and ideology of information interface.

Ye Wang was born in Changsha in 1991. He graduated from the Design Department of Central Academy of Fine Arts in 2013 at Beijing.
