Founded in 2016 in Boston’s SoWa Art + Design district, a vibrant area filled with industrial warehouses housing artist studios and galleries, YveYANG initially focused on art that reconsiders our perception and interaction with the contemporary world through innovative technological interventions. A year later, YveYANG relocated from the academic-centered environment of Boston to the global artistic hub of New York, expanding its vision and reach.
Today, YveYANG Gallery is situated in a historic sewing machine factory in SoHo, where it continues to showcase emerging and mid-career artists from around the world for their New York debuts. The gallery provides an international platform for its artists, actively participating in international art fairs such as Art Basel, West Bund, and NADA in Asia and the U.S. Reflecting the transformative impact of new technologies on our daily lives, YveYANG encourages its artists to challenge disciplines and push boundaries—whether through the language of painting or innovative mediums—to develop new narrative formats.
