Founded in 2016 in Boston’s SoWa Art + Design district, a vibrant area filled with industrial warehouses housing artist studios and galleries, YveYANG initially focused on art that reconsiders our perception and interaction with the contemporary world through innovative technological intervention. A year later, YveYANG relocated from the academic-centered environment of Boston to the global artistic hub of New York, and its scope expanded in sync.
Today, YveYANG Gallery calls SoHo’s historic sewing machine factory home, where it continues to introduce emerging and mid-career artists from around the world for their New York debuts. Much like how new technologies shift our daily lives, YveYANG encourages its artists to constantly challenge conventional disciplines and boundaries.
YveYANG represents mid-career artists and also showcases the work of younger and upcoming artists. The gallery offers an international platform to its artists by participating in art fairs such as Art Basel and West Bund in the United States and Asia.
